Everything about my trip to Key West was great, Peter Olson, Wes Upton & Nicholas Terezakis were amazing to deal with. Super patient guys with a knack for customer service, never once did I feel like I was at a normal dealership, these guys made the car buying process super easy and not stressful.
My New Favourite Dealership!
My boyfriend and I were on the hunt for a new SUV, and we ended up being helped by Rob Vanoverschot. I was nervous about going to a dealership as I'd never purchased off of a lot before - and Rob made the process a breeze! He answered all of our questions and never made us feel pressured at all! We test drove about 6 different makes and models and fell in love with a 2019 Ford Escape. I would highly recommend Rob and Key West Ford, even the financing department and insurance department made this process enjoyable!
Not to mention they had the best prices around - and we came all the way out from Abbotsford!
Great Kai and jag were awesome

Michael and Monina
The most seamless car buying experience with Peter Olson!
It was an awesome experience from the time we walked on the dealer lot to the time we drove home our car. Super friendly Ivan, super helpful Gurj and super salesman Peter!
Erick was very friendly and personable and it was a pleasure to do business with him. I would recommend him and Key West if you’re looking for a vehicle.
Happy with the Flex
Patient and Kind
I was extremely happy with most of the folks I spoke with during my time at Key West. It took me 3 days of visiting the dealership to make sure I was making the right decision on the vehicle for my needs and my budget. All staff but one understood that this purchase wasn't an easy one to make within my budget. Peter Olsen, Michael Nokes and Robert Klaus really understood why I needed to take my time and research all my options. I appreciated their kindness and patience and didn't feel at all pressured into the sale.
Helpful and honest dealers. Car was well inspected and in advertised good condition. Overall the service was good and the sale was fair. Dean was great!
I saw an ad for a F350 at the lot. The truck was not on the lot due to construction. It took a day to get the truck so I could see it. I made a deal and drove it away that afternoon. Happy with the vehicle. Sales person was new to Key West and lacked knowledge of all the options on the truck.
Over and above
They were great. They did everything in their power to help us. They really know there stuff. They took the time to explain everything and answer all if our questions. They really want to make that we got everything we needed and more.

Alright, we can certainly wager that you know about the differences between conventional manual and automatic transmissions. However, what exactly is the deal with “dual-clutch transmissions?” How does it differ and/or relate to a manual or an automatic? Well, we have the answers for you below.
A dual-clutch transmission as seen in vehicles such as the 2018 INFINITI QX30 is paired with the engine. While traditional manuals (“stick shifts”) offer only a single-clutch arrangement, this setup comes with two, as the name implies. With a single clutch, there’s a slight disconnect with the transmission that occurs when you depress the pedal—and a resulting bit of jerkiness as you’re driving. However, with dual-clutch transmissions, that jerkiness is eliminated thanks to the fact that it has two couplings that are not influenced by pedals. It’s a purely electronic system.
There are several benefits to a dual-clutch transmission as seen in a machine such as the 2018 INFINITI QX30. As mentioned, it operates much more smoothly than a single-clutch transmission. Additionally, it is also more fuel efficient; for example, the QX30 gets an average of 33 MPG on the highway.
Ah, the INFINITI Q50. It’s a sensational car with a ton of tech—so many impressive systems, in fact, that it’s impossible to cover them all at once. However, we’re going to start today by waxing poetic over its dynamic digital suspension and 3.0L engine.
This car comes with a fantastic engine that provides thrills and smiles. The 3.0L V6 churns out 300 horses at 6,400 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 295-lb.-ft. of torque at 1,500 RPM—and that’s just for the 3.0t model. If you step up to the Red Sport trim, its engine supplies a whopping 400 HP at 6,400 RPM and 350-lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 RPM. This means you’re looking at incredible performance that’s terribly tough to beat in this segment.
The 2019 INFINITI Q50 also comes with Dynamic Digital Suspension. This allows you to adjust the feel of your ride with a mere press of a button, there tweaking the suspension stiffness. With this kind of customization to go along with the might of the engine under the hood, the latest Q50 certainly brings a lot to the table.
Welcome back to our Features Glossary section, Tacoma! Today, we want to cover a topic we rarely go into here: limited slip differential.
Limited slip differential—as seen on such machines as the 2019 QX50—is actually a brake-actuated system that enables two output shafts to rotate at independent speeds from one another; however, the technology limits the difference between the speeds of the two. This means that your QX50 and other such INFINITI machines are more capable on difficult terrain (snowy pavement, for instance) as well as in other instances where traction would normally suffer. If any one tire begins to lose its grip, torque is automatically reduced to compensate.
Of course, the 2019 INFINITI QX50 is an all-around performer. It is outfitted with a 2.0L four-cylinder that pumps out an amazing 268 horses @ 5,600 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 RPM. Further, Driveline traction control and ABS are in place to help further mitigate slipping and skidding.
In search of an automobile with smart safety features? The 2018 QX60 and similarly equipped INFINITI vehicles come with InTouch Vehicle Monitoring.
InTouch Vehicle Monitoring comes in handy if you ever need to loan your car to a family member. Imagine you give the keys to your son or daughter and want to know when they arrive safely at their destination, but can’t count on them to actually remember to text you when they do. There’s a Drive Zone parameter that will send you a phone alert when your vehicle and its passengers reach where they’re going.
The 2018 QX60’s INFINITI InTouch Vehicle Monitoring can be used in other situations, too, even when you’re not dealing with family. You can opt to turn on a Maintenance Alert that will inform you if there is a car malfunction. Further, you may set a Max Speed warning that will tell you if a boundary threshold has been exceeded when someone else is driving your crossover.
INFINITI’s InTouch Vehicle Monitoring is a wonderful feature. Give us a call today to hear more about it!
If you’re like many of our readers, safety’s a critical consideration when you’re selecting a new car. And while it’s rare these days for us to spend time thinking about something so seemingly banal as windshield wipers, it turns out not all wipers are created equal, as is evidenced on the 2018 INFINITI QX60.
Standard wipers operate in the way you’re accustomed to—you turn them on and have to manually tweak their operating speed as the rate of precipitation changes. This can take your attention off the road, however. Fortunately, the 2018 INFINITI QX60 comes with rain-sensing wipers that adjust their speed automatically on your behalf when a storm hits. They can even turn themselves on whenever the first raindrops hit the glass!
The technology behind this feature is impressive: An infrared beam is attached to the exterior of the windshield; this beam then gets reflected to a sensor. Whenever rain falls, the precipitation disrupts the infrared stream, at which time analog and digital signals pass along the rate of rainfall to the wiper’s motors. Taking into account the velocity of your car as well, the operating speed of the wipers is thus decided upon.
DMS is nifty for anyone that knows they’re going to encounter wildly varying driving conditions (which, of course, is most of us). There’s a Standard mode, but also a Snow setting that lets you more competently deal with wintry weather by enhancing traction. As you'd expect, Eco mode puts a focus on efficiency, while Sport is tuned for performance. Regardless of your selection, the car automatically alters the transmission and throttle sensitivity for the best results.
Intelligent AWD is also on the table with the 2019 INFINITI Q50. It uses sensors to send details to the car’s computer, analyze the data, and make adjustments based upon road surface conditions. The technology can automatically send all available power to the rear or split it 50/50 between the wheels in order to increase traction.
The 2019 INFINITI QX80 has been tuned magnificently by INFINITI for performance. It’s an amazing luxury machine with two distinct advantages versus many other machines in its class: All-Mode 4WD and Hydraulic Body Motion Control.
First, there’s All-Mode 4WD. It offers both 4H and 4L modes, enabling you to move between maximum traction/full power and normal driving conditions. And because the technology is capable of tuning torque between the front and rear wheels, it’s able to actually enhance grip when it encounters slick surfaces.
The 2019 INFINITI QX80 also comes with Hydraulic Body Motion Control. This enables the smart distribution of pressure to either the outer or inner suspension via the monitoring of force levels. The result is reduced body lean and a smoother ride. Plus, this isolation of the cabin from the harshness of the street means there’s less vertical motion to bother you when you roll over a pothole.
We love talking about the various features of different INFINITI cars and this one is a special piece of kit, indeed. The VC-Turbo engine in the 2019 INFINITI QX50 represents the first production-ready variable compression engine on Earth and, boy, is it something else.
The QX50’s VC-Turbo engine is massively powerful—and ingenious. The team at INFINITI took a 2.0L turbo gasoline motor and granted it the kind of efficiency and torque typically only seen in modern diesel engines. In so doing, they also drastically cut down on emissions.
The VC-Turbo works in a very unique way: The engine utilizes a multi-link system to ascertain what the best compression ratio is. Additionally, this system detects driver inputs in real-time and endeavors to lower or raise the pistons on demand. Depending on the conditions, it selects a ratio that provides the most benefit at any given time. The machine can use either a high-performance 8:1 ratio or a high-efficiency 14:1 ratio. Because of this smart engineering, the 2019 QX50 is more fuel efficient than the old model; in fact, the new machine has a 31 highway / 24 city average MPG.
Welcome back to our Features Glossary section! This is where we break down all the goodies that make up the wonderful cars INFINITI manufactures. Today, we wish to take a peek behind the 2019 Q50’s makeup and see how its 3.0L engine and its Dynamic Digital Suspension work.
This machine comes with an excellent and powerful 3.0L six-cylinder motor. It produces 300 HP at 6,400 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 295-lb.-ft. of torque at 1,500 RPM… and that’s just for the standard variant matched to the 3.0t trim! If, however, you step up to the Red Sport model, you’ll enjoy a whopping 400 HP at 6,400 RPM and 350-lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 RPM. Stunning, right? Either way, you can’t go wrong.
The 2019 INFINITI Q50 also comes with Dynamic Digital Suspension. It boasts the ability to allow you to alter how your car feels with just a press of a button. You can tweak the suspension's stiffness setting on the fly to find the one setting you find most comfortable.
