First Time Purchase
4.85
As first time new car purchasers, my fiancé and I were delighted with the experience of purchasing our new 2018 Ford Escape. Peter made us feel at ease, and let us see a variety of vehicles, even going as far as pulling them out of their parking spots to let us see each and every car in a bit more open area. Peter was kind, light-hearted and didn’t make us feel pressured into making any decisions. He was up front about the previous ownership of the vehicle we decided on, and even printed off the reports for us to keep. When we had further questions, he brought Wes over to meet with us and discuss the vehicle further. It was so nice, being first time buyers, to have a pressure-free and up front conversation about our new purchase. We highly recommend Peter, and the entire Key West team, to help you find your new vehicle!

We arrived just before the dealership was to open and Jag came out and welcomed us in and helped us immediately. He quickly located the vehicle we were looking at and brought it to us. Jag was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We decided on the vehicle and we worked out a great deal. I also wanted to send a thank-you to Ivan and Gurj! Overall we are very happy with our vehicle, very happy with our deal and extremely satisfied with our overall experience. I would have no problem recommending Jag and Key West Ford!

Exactly the vehicle we were looking for

Robert was extremely knowledgeable and personable from the first phone call to his most recent follow up call. We had done our research and were looking for a specific Ford F150 that could pull our fifth wheel trailer. Robert listened carefully and suggested that we come in and see the one used vehicle that met our criteria. Never pushy but friendly and excellent at his job. Wanted to make the deal but willing to negotiate and make sure that we satisfied with the process. Highly recommend Robert to any of my friends and thanks for making the buying experience pleasurable.

We recently purchased a new Ford Escape and were impressed with the friendly and courteous service. Lino and Wes were very helpful and knowledgeable. They patiently and confidently answered our many questions and guided us through the process with ease. Thank you also to Jeff who promptly assisted us when we returned the next day with a couple of questions when Lino and Wes were not available. Overall, we appreciated the attentive service from all staff from our initial visit through the financing and insurance.

Best Tips For Women Drivers In Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
infiniti maintenance tips warning light seattle washingtonWhile there are certain things it’s totally cool to turn a blind eye to — like the number of calories in that frappuccino, or the exorbitant price tag on that cheeky summer dress — there are others you probably shouldn’t ignore. A warning light on your instrument dash is one of them.

I know this from experience.

A “check engine” illumination would pop up and I would either avoid it altogether (hoping it would just magically go away on its own) or call my dad. Neither of these courses of action reinforced the “strong, independent woman” shtick I was aiming for.

Over nearly 15 years of driving, here’s what I’ve learned: Not only will the issue not magically go away on its own, but it may get worse the longer you leave it. Secondly, while phoning a friend is always an easy out, there’s no reason you can’t handle this yourself.

Here’s how to deal when a warning light comes on in your INFINITI…

1. Assess The Situation - Like checking the different notifications your smartphone, see what’s lighting up where and why. These days, newer models are pretty intuitive and don’t require you to decode much. Plus, anything that isn’t outwardly obvious (like an illuminated oil canister) will be explained in your owner’s manual.

2. DIY The Quick Fix - Believe it or not, things like wheel pressure and oil are really easy to handle solo. And if you’re unsure how to change your oil or fill up your tires (read here, first), a short pit-stop at a service station will get you in the know. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Once you learn how it’s done, you can add a valuable life-long skill to your repertoire.

3. Seek Maintenance - If the problem seems more dubious than you expected, or your manual suggests to seek maintenance, do so. Contact your local INFINITI dealership and schedule an appointment with the service department.

Last but not least, if you’re unsure, it’s always better to be safe than sorry. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!
how to change air filter infiniti tacoma washingtonI remember my first time.

It was 2016, and I had been barely driving on my own for a year.

During a routine oil change at a local service station, the attendant working on my vehicle informed me that my air filter needed replacing. Here’s the catch: it would add an extra $35 to my bill for the day. Naturally skeptical as I am — and also, given the fact that I was a broke 17-year-old who preferred to spend her hostessing tips on makeup — I politely declined.

Instead, I drove straight home and asked my dad, “what the heck is an air filter and do I even really need one anyway?”  It was then that I learned an air filter is actually pretty vital to the health of your INFINITI vehicle. Not only does it prevent harmful debris, dirt, and contaminants from entering your engine, but according to Pro Car Mechanics, keeping things clean under the hood can also help to improve your gas mileage by as much as 10%.

Oh — and it turns out, the answer to the second question is an abundant, YES. The good news though? It’s easy to change on your own and should cost you less than $10.

Here’s how it’s done...

Step 1: Buy a new air filter. You can check your owner’s manual to find out the precise one you need for your car. However, most places that sell them — like a Super Walmart! — will have a guide that allows you to look up the make and model of your ride and tell you which one to purchase. Easy peasy.

Step 2: Pop the hood. Under the hood of your INFINITI, you should easily be able to locate the AF box — typically it's made of black plastic and sits on top or to the side of your engine. If you’re not sure, consult your owner’s manual to see a diagram.

Step 3: Make the switch. Open the air filter compartment and remove the dirty filter. Place your newly purchased one in its spot. Close the box, snap the clips, lower the hood, and ….voila! You’re done!

Step 4: Pat yourself on the back.  You earned it.

The whole event — save for the purchasing part — should take you under two minutes and will likely afford you a new sense of purpose and accomplishment (at least, it did for me).

A good rule of thumb for keeping on top of your AF-maintenance is to swap the old one out with a new one every 12 months or 12,000 miles — whichever comes first. Want to learn more? Contact our dealership today.
